If you'd asked me 10 years ago what success looked like...

I'd have probs said:

"A Β£50 million vegan pizza empire." πŸ•πŸ˜‚

β†’ More staff.
β†’ Big sexy Shoreditch office.
β†’ Products in every category.
β†’ Listed with every retailer.

More everything. πŸ€ͺ

Back then, I thought bigger automatically meant better.

I don't anymore. πŸ™…

As One Planet Pizza has grown, something else has changed too.

I've realised I don't want to build the biggest business possible.

I want to build one of the happiest. πŸ’›

β†’ One that gives our team freedom.
β†’ One that gives me time with my family.
β†’ One where me & Amabel can actually switch off at weekends.
β†’ One where work is exciting, creative and fun.
β†’ One where we work hard but laugh hard too.
(Normally at Mike's expense πŸ˜‚)

Having Otis only reinforced that.

These days, success looks very different to me.

If, in 10 years' time, One Planet PizzaΒ was a Β£5 million business that kept growing steadily, stayed profitable, had a small, incredible team, and gave us the freedom to work from anywhere...

I'd be incredibly proud.

For years, I chased scale.

Now I'm chasing quality...

Quality of life. πŸ’›πŸ’ͺ

Maybe that's me getting older.

Maybe it's finally understanding what success actually means to me.

Or maybe it's just becoming a dad.

Has your definition of success changed over the years???
